Yifat Godiner

An experienced strategic advisor, guiding executive teams and boards through technology, cybersecurity, digital transformation, AI, and innovation leadership.

יפעת גודינר

Nice to meet you, I’m Yifat Godiner.

I bring over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, strategy, and leadership. Today, I serve as a board member at Clalit Health Services, where I sit on the Information Systems and Innovation Committee, helping shape digital health strategies at one of Israel’s largest organizations.

As a strategic advisor, I work closely with executive teams and boards, guiding them through complex decisions in technology, cybersecurity, innovation, and artificial intelligence. Alongside this, I lecture regularly at conferences, workshops, and in-house sessions, making cutting-edge topics accessible and actionable for leadership audiences.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, and an MBA summa cum laude from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Previously, I held senior leadership roles in global organizations across various industries, including serving as Chief Information Officer and member of the executive team at OPC Energy and Ben-Gurion University. In each of these roles, I led significant digital transformation initiatives, built high-performing teams, and helped align technology with business growth.

Today, my focus is on helping organizations develop future-ready technology strategies, manage cybersecurity risks, and harness the power of innovation through tailored lectures, workshops, and advisory sessions.

Strategic Technology Consulting for Executives and Boards

Helping leadership teams make smart, confident decisions in today’s fast-moving digital and AI-driven world

My Expertise

Strategic Technology Consulting for Executive Teams and Boards

Many executive teams know where they want to go but struggle to understand which technology will truly advance their organization. In a reality where the market changes rapidly, the technology options are vast, and wrong decisions are costly - professional, independent, and unbiased guidance is essential. This is where I come in.

As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, I support executive teams and boards in strategically assessing needs, building a technology roadmap that serves business goals, and making informed choices of tools and systems. Together, we identify the most relevant AI use cases, define what is right for the organization now and what will be needed later, and ensure the right decisions are made in information security and regulatory compliance.

My goal is to help you connect business vision with technological excellence, making sure technology serves the organization - not the other way around.

Startup Mentoring as a Member of the Advisory Board

In startups, decision-making is fast-paced, but balancing vision with product precision and market fit is crucial. As an expert with years of experience in technology management and strategic consulting, I bring a broad perspective to the Advisory Board, connecting technology with product, and regulation with strategy. I help entrepreneurs sharpen their direction, prepare for market and investor demands, review and improve the architecture of the technological solution, and navigate a changing regulatory environment. All this with a clear goal of creating real value - for customers, investors, and, of course, the entrepreneurs themselves.

Lectures and Workshops for Executive Teams, Boards, and Organizations

The lectures and workshops I deliver are designed for decision-makers and create a connection between technological insights, real-world examples, and a deep understanding of today’s management challenges. Whether it’s a lecture on artificial intelligence and its implications for executives and boards, or a workshop on preparing for cybersecurity incidents, the content is always customized and combined with practical tools that help managers understand, implement, and lead.

My guiding principle is to share inspiring knowledge that prompts participants to pause and ask themselves: Are we truly ready for the future?
What changes can we make today?

GUIDING LEADERS THROUGH TECH, CYBER, AND STRATEGY - DIRECTLY TO IMPACT

Professional Experience

Common Questions from CEOs Who Don’t Speak "Tech"

01

How do I know if the investment in technology will actually pay off?

Collaborative development and evaluation of the technology roadmap, aligned with the organizational strategy to maximize company profitability and enhance the customer experience.

02

Is artificial intelligence just a passing trend?

AI is here to stay. Our role is to build a responsible policy for implementing AI in the organization — to drive and promote innovation, enhance customer experience, create competitive differentiation, improve productivity, and maximize profits.

03

How do we deal with the overload of tech recommendations and the endless solutions in the market?

Filtering and prioritization based on strategy, understanding the business need, and matching tailored solutions to the organization. In an age of technological overload, I’d be glad to support you — drawing on my extensive experience in the tech world and using a structured decision-making model, I’ll help you make smart, organization-specific decisions.

04

What should I be asking my CIO?

How do our information systems support business objectives? The CIO should be evaluated based on success in achieving business goals. Where are the cybersecurity risks, and what can be done to reduce them? This is a critical question from a management responsibility standpoint. The CIO must be prepared for cyber incidents, manage risks, and build proper mitigation strategies. Important to ask: Has the organization implemented a business continuity plan? Have all systems been mapped? Are there protocols in place for handling a crisis — particularly a cyber incident? Is there cyber insurance? Is there an agreement in place with a crisis management company? Are executive and employee-level simulations being conducted? What is the utilization level of existing systems? In many cases, systems overlap in functionality, or were implemented without proper training and user support — leading to underutilization. With just a few simple steps, system productivity can be improved to enhance business processes. Where can we reduce costs without compromising quality? Sometimes, systems are deployed but unused, and operational expenses can be optimized. On the other hand, we should be asking: What new technologies can give us a competitive edge? What are the growth engines — not just maintenance tools? How do we measure success in IT projects? User satisfaction, achievement of business goals, and not just staying within budget, timeline, and scope.

05

What can we do to avoid a cyberattack before it happens?

Raising awareness within the organization, developing methodologies, preparing protocols, implementing protective systems, monitoring and supervision, and conducting drills for management, the board, and employees. It’s impossible to completely prevent a cyber incident, but with responsible management, many actions can be taken to reduce the attack surface, increase awareness, and prepare for crisis situations.
