When I was an undergraduate student, one of the most fascinating courses I took was Artificial Intelligence, taught by Professor Sarit Kraus. Even back then, the idea that a machine could “think,” learn, and make decisions was thrilling. I was captivated by the potential of AI and how it could reshape the world.

Since then, AI hasn’t just advanced—it has made a meteoric leap forward. Today, I use it almost daily—at work, in my personal life, for decision-making, and for streamlining processes. But if AI has become such a natural part of our personal lives, why do so many organizations still struggle to make the leap?

Three Key Principles for Implementing AI in Organizations:

1. Start with Problems, Not Technology

Instead of asking, “How can we implement AI?” the right question is, “Where do we have challenges that AI can help solve?” Whether it’s customer service, cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, or process optimization—solutions should be driven by business needs.

2. Remove Barriers – Cultural, Not Just Technological

The biggest challenge isn’t just technical—it’s human and cultural. Employees need to see AI as an enabler, not a replacement. Investing in training, providing guidance, and fostering the right mindset ensures that AI adoption is embraced rather than resisted.

3. Start Small, Scale Smart

Rather than attempting a full-scale AI revolution, start with small, measurable projects. Once the first successes are evident, scaling AI adoption becomes much easier and more organic.

Over a decade ago, AI was primarily an academic subject. Today, it’s part of our daily lives. It’s time for organizations to make it a core part of their strategy—not in the future, but now.

How is your organization approaching AI adoption?

Have you already integrated AI into your workflows?

I’d love to hear your insights and help you uplift your AI adoption.
